Alaska Accepts Invite to the Showdown!

Amelia Hoch, from Wasilla, Alaska, accepted her invite to the 2024 Showcase Showdown in Athens, AL. She plays travel ball for the Alaska Firecrackers and is a 2026 graduate who holds down the middle infield as a primary shortstop. She is also a speedy lefty slapper with the ability to leg out a single on a slow infield hit, or leg out a triple on a gap shot. She batted .400 in last season with an OBP of .550. This kid can do it all!

Amelia's target colleges are Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Idaho, and Oklahoma. We are happy that she accepted her invitation to come down to Alabama and compete against some of the best the south has to offer! Welcome to the SHOWDOWN!
