Located in Gallatin, Tennessee, Volunteer State Community College serves students throughout Middle Tennessee with additional campuses in Livingston, Cookeville, and Springfield. Known as "Vol State," the college is recognized for its affordable tuition, strong university transfer programs, and career and technical education. The Pioneers compete in NJCAA Division I Softball as members of the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association (TCCAA) and Region 7. The softball program provides student-athletes with the opportunity to compete against some of Tennessee's top junior college programs while preparing for successful transfers to four-year institutions.
